Elk Bugling

During this time, you can hear male elks bugling throughout the day, but mostly in the early morning and later in the evening. When you go to watch the elk bugle, we recommend bringing some jackets, a few snacks, chairs, and binoculars to get a better view of the elk! Remember, these are wild animals and you are coming into their home, do not get too close to elk and do not bother them or any other animal in any way. This is a calm and relaxing activity, most people talk in a whisper as to not miss one of the bugles the comes from the herd and to not disrupt the elk in their natural habitat.
